Lighting for Barbershops

Correct lighting is non-negotiable in grooming spaces. Barbers need 800–1,000 lux at the mirror for fade work; clients need flattering ambient light that does not glare. Foresimpov designs three-layer schemes for every shop we fit.

Task Lighting

Wall-mounted or integrated mirror lights with 4000K colour temperature and CRI 90+. We specify LED strips behind frosted diffusers or adjustable arm sconces from Flos and Louis Poulsen commercial ranges. Per station: SEK 8,500 – 14,200 installed.

Ambient Lighting

Recessed downlights or track systems for general illumination. Dimmable circuits allow mood shift between day and evening appointments. Typical shop: SEK 32,000 – 58,000 for ambient layer.

Accent & Feature

Pendant clusters over reception, LED cove details, and backlit shelving for retail products. Adds character and guides the eye through the space. From SEK 18,500 per feature zone.

Standalone Lighting Package

If you are refreshing an existing shop without full fit-out, our lighting-only package starts at SEK 68,000 including design, specification, and installation coordination with your electrician.
